Climate change that is increasingly uncertain is a natural symptom that needs to be addressed. This kind of reality should invite all parties to how to respond to such natural phenomena, especially the government as an agent of service and development. With such climate change, innovation in ecosystems in various aspects of human life is forced to be increasingly eroded, one of which is the threat to the sea. Mangroves which are marine plants as a barrier to redence against the potential for sand erosion and prevent abrasion. Mangrove forests are important habitats for biodiversity and as lifeguards from abrasion. This activity aims to increase public awareness about the importance of mangroves in preventing abrasion, especially in Meko Hamlet. It is hoped that with this activity, the community can understand and take the great benefits possessed by mangroves and prevent the village from abrasion. Mangrove planting as an abrasion prevention effort is an option offered in Meko beach conservation, Pledo Village, Witihama District – East Adonara.
