Sistem Informasi Monitoring Stok Darah Palang Merah Indonesia Kota Tegal untuk Efisiensi Manajemen Krisis

The application of information technology can support blood inventory management by providing faster and more structured information at the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in Tegal City. A qualitative Research and Development (R&D) approach was used in this study to develop a blood inventory monitoring information system. Research data were collected through observation, interviews, and a literature review. The results of this data collection served as the basis for system development using the Waterfall method. The resulting system is web-based and designed to assist in the monitoring and management of blood stock. Next, the system’s functions were tested using Black Box Testing to ensure compliance with the established requirements. The resulting system was built using the Laravel framework and MySQL, featuring functions for managing incoming blood donations, hospital requests, monitoring stock status, critical stock notifications, reporting, and demand estimation based on the average demand over the past six months. The system can display stock levels in real time and issue automatic alerts when inventory reaches 5 bags or less. Test results show that all system functions meet the functional requirements, making the system suitable for supporting blood stock monitoring and management at the Tegal City Red Cross (PMI).
